We use the simple and efficient mechanism to improve the performance of ad-hoc On-demand protocols. We use more than one path at a time but only one active route for destination. This approach reduces overhead of the route maintenance at the time of link failure. When path failure occurs there is other route is available to the destination. We use the RREQ packets and made more than one RREP packet for more than one route. We compare our ad-hoc on-demand protocol with other ad-hoc on-demand protocols like DSR, AOMDV and AODV. Our approach reduces the normalized routing load and Dropping ratio then other ad-hoc on-demand protocols. It also reduces the end to end delay than other ad-hoc on-demand protocols.We use the simple and efficient mechanism to improve the performance of ad-hoc On-demand protocols.
